KPMG TRIP DOCUMENT :)

This is the document that i made to show all of the writing that I did after I went on a school trip to KPMG 2 days ago.

Play Dough 

 

What I made with play dough at KPMG yesterday. I tried to make a strawberry shortcake. The pictures I took look very blurry because I was in a rush to take them. 

 

Green Screen & Writing 

When we first got to KPMG we all sat down and got introduced to all of the workers who were there to guide us before getting split up into a group of 6 people. In my group I had my best friends who are Vika, Zaria, Swaimah, Melinda.

 

We also got to see their rooftop and meet the workers around the building.

I loved how we all worked together and looked around and explored.

 

When we all got back we were greeted with some wonderful food as our morning tea. Our food consisted of sausage rolls which were meant to be vegetarian, scones, Custard,croissants,cream,jam and Orange Juice and Water. 

 

After that we all got to take pictures with a green screen while wearing hilarious costumes and weird accessories. 

 

Then we all got to draw on paper and make our very own green screen backdrops to use for our images. For mine I drew an LGBTQIA inspired picture that also had the quote “ Love Who You Want Because Love Is Love”.

 

20 minutes after we were allowed to go and wash our hands before getting served our Lunch. For lunch there was a bug variety which was Sliders that were meat and vegetarian, Chicken Tenders, Salad, Fruit skewers, tattertotters, Orange Juice,Water,More Scones with Cream and Jam, and more sausage rolls.

 

 

Rm 1 Local Delicacy Tasting

Date : 28/07/22

This is my descriptive writing about the sour lollies we tasted today during literacy in room 1. I hope you like my writing and the video I made to show me tasting it.

 

Tasting a local delicacy from queenstown

At first I thought it was a truffle because it felt hard and I could feel powder around the outside.  Which I thought was coconut shaving. When I smelt it it smelt like raspberry so I thought it had dried berries on the inside. After feeling it some more I tried to squash it but I couldn’t. When we were finally able to taste it and it hit my tongue I nearly cried because of how sour it was to the point where it burnt my tongue. After all of the sour sugar coating disentagraded it tasted like a very sweet blue raspberry lollie. Mr Moran said that he bought it from a shop in Queenstown named Remarkable sweet shop and that the lollie we had just tried was the most sour lolly in New Zealand. 

 

I also made a video of me tasting the lolly.

 

Wk1 Term 3 Immersion Assembly

This is my writing about what happend at my schools Immersion Assembly this morning.

 

Today when I came back to school our school had our first assembly of term 3 which is an Immersion Assembly where all of our teachers work together to create videos and presentations to show what their classes are going to learn about based off of our topic for this term which is Art Works.

 

Team 1 

For team 1s presentation 3 of the teachers painted a person with paint that they thought matched the colour of the mood throughout the day.

 

Team 2 

Team 2 Drew self portraits with shapes while a video of them explaining what they were doing was playing in the background.

Team 3 

Team 3 the teachers showed a video of there teachers lip syncing and dancing to 

Disney princes theme songs such as Beauty & The Beast and Frozen. 

Team 4

Showed the different ways they express themselves and how certain things make them feel.

Like how Miss Tuia danced to island songs.

 

Team 5

Team 5 Which is the team i’m in put on a show/play and played out beauty and the beast where the beast and belle are dancing together. My teacher Miss Stone played as a candle whil Miss Tipene played as the teapot while Mr Wisemen played as Belle and Mr Moran played as the beast in a dog onesie.

Lilimay Wk10 Term 2 2022 Literacy Animation

This is my animation that I did for my literacy work. For our literacy work today we had to make an animation based off a story/topic of our choosing. For mine I chose overfishing because I know that it’s a serious matter. I hope you like my work and if you do please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Exstention Project for Term 2 2022

For Exstention today we all got put into a group of 3-4 people to decided what area we would want to work on for this term and make a mini movie about. In my group I have my 2 friends Aye and Amira. For our Mini movie we also have to choose 3-4 topics to talk about apart from our main idea. For our groups main idea we choose Before and after.
